📸 What You'll Do

  • Perform a variety of technical radiographic procedures under the direction of the Urgent Care Practice Manager.
  • Adapt care to the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Work 2 shifts per week, with every other weekend availability required.
  • Cross-train with front desk and Medical Assistants to support patient flow.
  • Perform radiographic exams with a sound understanding of equipment, anatomical positioning, and technical factors.
  • Transfer images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for physician review.
  • Perform required quality control procedures and ensure equipment is performing as expected.
  • Report unit issues to the Manager of Medical Imaging.
  • Provide coverage for the department as required, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Completion of formal training in an AMA-approved accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
  • Current license to work in the State of Rhode Island.
  • Current ARRT certification.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
  • One-year experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
