📸 What You'll Do
- Perform interventional procedures including carotid and run-off arteriograms.
- Conduct routine diagnostic radiology procedures as needed.
- Set up room angio trays and equipment using aseptic techniques.
- Prep patients for procedures, including shaving and draping.
- Calculate and select appropriate technical factors for high-quality imaging.
- Assist physicians with gowning, draping, scrubbing, and guidewire and catheter placement.
- Operate and set parameters on power injectors.
- Send images to PACS and the laser printer.
- Assist with complex procedures such as abscess drainage and needle biopsies.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned area.
Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Completion of formal radiologic technology training of two years duration.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered and licensed by the State of Rhode Island.
- At least 3-6 months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist performing routine diagnostic radiology exams.
- Current CPR certification.
