📸 What You'll Do

• Perform interventional procedures including carotid and run-off arteriograms.
• Provide services to patients of all ages including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Set up room angio trays and equipment utilizing aseptic techniques.
• Prep patients for procedures, including shaving and draping.
• Assist physicians with gowning, draping, scrubbing, and guidewire and catheter placement.
• Operate and set parameters on power injector.
• Send images to PACS and the laser printer.
• Prepare appropriate medications for exams according to protocols.
• Assist radiologists with complex procedures such as abscess drainage and needle biopsies.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned area.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training of two years duration.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered and licensed by the State of Rhode Island.
• At least 3-6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist performing routine diagnostic radiology exams.
• Current CPR certification.
