📸 What You'll Do
- Perform interventional procedures including carotid and run-off arteriograms.
- Provide services to patients of all ages including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Set up room angio trays and equipment utilizing aseptic techniques.
- Prep patients for procedures, including shaving and draping.
- Assist physicians with gowning, draping, scrubbing, and guidewire and catheter placement.
- Operate and set parameters on power injector.
- Send images to PACS and the laser printer.
- Prepare appropriate medications for exams according to protocols.
- Assist radiologists with complex procedures such as abscess drainage and needle biopsies.
- Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned area.
Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training of two years duration.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered and licensed by the State of Rhode Island.
- At least 3-6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist performing routine diagnostic radiology exams.
- Current CPR certification.
