📸 What You'll Do

  • Perform CT Scan procedures in a satellite unit or a unit requiring more difficult techniques.
  • Instruct Radiology students and/or employees in clinical procedures.
  • Perform clerical and administrative functions for efficient unit operation and patient records.
  • Utilize experienced-based knowledge to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Provide clinical experience and guidance to Radiology Technology students.
  • Provide on-the-job instruction to employees in clinical procedures.
  • Perform tasks such as inventory management, compiling statistics, and equipment checks.
  • Practice ALARA principles of Radiation Protection.
  • Direct and review the work of others, providing input on performance appraisals.
  • Maintain department workflow and staff efficiency for maximum throughput.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited program in Computed Tomography.
  • Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
  • Current CPR certification from AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
  • RI state radiation license and CT supplemental license from the DOH.
  • Ability to operate all types of x-ray CT Scan and related equipment.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and instruct students and employees.
  • One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist plus specialized training in CT Scanner operation.
